Paycheck Calculator

Paycheck / Take-Home Pay Calculator

Estimate only — not tax advice. Federal taxes only, version 1. No state, local, or pre-tax deductions are included.

Tax year: 2025 — federal brackets and standard deduction for 2025 are used.

Estimate your take-home pay, federal taxes only

The Paycheck Calculator on SavyTools estimates how much of your gross pay you keep after US federal income tax, Social Security and Medicare. Version 1 is federal-only: it does not include state or local taxes, retirement contributions, health premiums or other pre-tax deductions, so your actual paycheck may differ.

How to use it

Enter your annual gross pay, choose Single, Married filing jointly or Head of household, and choose how often you are paid — weekly, biweekly, semimonthly, monthly or annually. Press Calculate take-home pay to see the estimated federal tax, Social Security and Medicare amounts, your annual take-home pay and the amount per paycheck.

Tips

Tax year 2025 brackets and the 2025 standard deduction are used in this version. If your pay changes during the year, rerun the calculator with the new annual figure. Remember that this is an estimate, not tax advice, and it does not replace your employer payroll calculation or a tax professional.
