Color Palette Generator
Build a harmonious 5-color palette from a starting color. Lock colors you like, regenerate the rest, and copy HEX, RGB or HSL values.
Create harmonious 5-color palettes
The Color Palette Generator on SavyTools builds a balanced set of five colors from one starting color, using color harmony rules rather than AI. Choose analogous, complementary, triadic, monochromatic or pastel, lock any color you love, and regenerate the rest until the set feels right.
How to use it
Pick a starting color, choose a scheme, and press Generate palette. Press Lock on a swatch to keep it while you regenerate the others. Press Copy HEX on a swatch, or Copy all HEX for the whole set. The CSS variables box gives you ready-to-paste variables, and Download CSS file saves them as palette.css.
Tips
Use one color as the main color, one or two as support colors, and one as an accent for buttons and links. Check text contrast: light text on light colors and dark text on dark colors can be hard to read. For a calm design, start with monochromatic or pastel. For contrast, try complementary.
Frequently asked questions
Does it use AI? No. Palettes come from standard color harmony rules applied to your starting color.
What formats can I copy? Each swatch shows HEX, RGB and HSL. You can copy HEX per swatch or for the whole palette, and export all five as CSS variables.
What does locking do? A locked color stays in place when you generate a new palette, so you can build around a color you already like.
Can I use the palettes for free? Yes. There is no sign-up, watermark or fee.
